Laura Mercier Bonne Mine Stick Face Colour *

Spring and summer is just around the corner here down under and dewy, glowing skin is the currently 'in' at the moment. Ever since strobing has gone viral, highlighting has become extremely popular.

The Bonne Mine Stick Face Colours are "sheer, blendable sticks that give the skin a natural-looking colour with a no-makeup radiance that appears soft and sun-kissed" These stick face colours are perfect multi-purpose sticks that can be used as a blush, bronzer, contour, eyeshadow and lip colour. Available in 4 permanent shades, the Bonne Mine Stick is a must-have product for every no-fuss chick.

This product has a sheer to light colour pay off and the consistency is quite thin and fairly dry in texture despite it being a cream product, but it blends smoothly and seamlessly with fingers. It has a lovely translucent, water colour effect. To apply I dab product generously on the tops of my cheeks (straight from the tube) and blend out with clean fingers. I find the Bonne Mine Stick Face Colour to be a very convenient, multitasking tool - it's portable and can be kept in your bag for touch ups. I received mine in the shade 'Peach Glow' which is reminiscent to the renown NARS blush in 'Orgasm'. It's a stunning peachy-pink shade with very fine gold iridescence that gives a very beautiful, natural flush of colour and sheen to the cheeks without over-accentuating large pores.

The Bonne Mine stick is lightweight, long-lasting and wears comfortably on the eyes, lips and face. On my skin, this proved to have lasted the full 8 hours, potentially longer. It definitely is transfer proof and water resistant! I swatched this on my arm and left it for an entire day and even after showering, it was still very visible - it did not melt, fade or rub off!

This is such an amazing product and I actually prefer it over powder blushes. It's has the perfect amount of pigment that's easy to control and is universally flattering on all skin tones. Bonne Mine Face Sticks doubles as a contour, highlight and blush for an all-in-one cheek colour and can definitely be used as a lip colour or as an eyeshadow base/highlight.
