Laura Mercier Face Illuminator 'Indiscretion'

When the highly coveted Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in 'Indiscretion' first released as part of the Laura Mercier Un Été À Ibiza Collection, it sold out post-haste! I didn't have enough time to jump on the bandwagon and I certainly wasn't going to miss out the second time around so I put my name down on the waiting list for the next batch…and here it is!

This face illuminator comes packaged in a rather bulky compact with 10.0g/0.35 oz. worth of product. The design of the product is sensual and silky, insanely metallic and shimmery in the pan. 'Indiscretion' translate as a light to medium rose-gold shade with very fine, micro shimmers and a slightly-frosted iridescent finish. It has a soft, smooth texture and it's incredibly blendable and lightweight on the skin. The pigmentation of this powder is phenomenal and it gives the skin a soft-focus luminous sheen, but can also be built up to an intense, high-shine and multi-dimentional glow.

The quality of this product is amazing, it's luxurious, it applies beautifully and blends out seamlessly. This highlighter is also long-wearing, lasting up to 8 hours on me.

The limited edition Laura Mercier Face Illuminator retails for $42 at David Jones, in store and online. Stocks are very limited, so if you've already picked up one or two or three, give yourself a pat on the back!

  1. Dayum, this highlighter is beautiful. The design is just stunning! I'm very tempted but am currently on a spending ban! Maybe if I happen to be at a LM counter and it's in stock though...

    1. If it's in stock, then it's a sign from the make up gods telling you you need it in your life!

    1. I think I need to try and snag myself another one...one for display and one to use all the way to the pan

  3. This looks stunning! I decided to get the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop over this one, but this is quite beautiful as well. It just takes so long to finish a highlighter, I can't really justify buying any more but this post definitely makes me want to! Lovely swatches.
