Tonymoly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel

Korean beauty and skincare products have garnered a lot of rave reviews and hype in recent years. A couple of days ago, I came across a pop up store at Homebush Bay and decided to try something new. and came back with a few products from TonyMoly.

The Tonymoly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel is a facial skincare product that is described as "a deep cleansing product that promotes youthfully radiant skin…it removes dead skin cells and brings vitality to your skin with optimal moisture."

This brightening peeling gel comes packaged in a plastic squeeze tube containing 150ml. The texture of this product is a gel, but once it's gently massaged into the skin it transform into a thin, aqueous consistency with a very cooling sensation.

This product lifts and removes dead skin cells most effectively without harsh exfoliants and vigorous rubbing. The scent of this product is light and fresh and it feels rejuvinating. I apply a pea sized amount of this product and work in sections on both face and neck and wash off with luke warm water and continue on with cleanser, toner and moisturiser. My skin type ranges between very dry-combination with uneven skin texture and tone. The rough patches and flakes between my brows, around my nose, lips and chin are unbelievably stubborn and hard to remove, but this product completely lifted off all the dead skin and I noticed my skin looked a little brighter and a lot less dull.

Full ingredient list:
Water, Glycerin, Quaternium-60, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Dipropylene Glycol, Pearl Powder, Yeast, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Serine, Sodium Lactate, Sorbitol, Urea, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl Glycol, 1, 2-Hexanediol,Allantoin, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

Overall it's a great product - it worked well without drying my skin or breaking me out. The "peeling" process was very satisfying, however it is very important to remember that this product does contain one *potential* irritant and acne trigger and it is scented so if you're sensitive to scents or have acne prone skin, this product will probably be a miss for you, otherwise I would definitely recommend this product if you have stubborn flakey skin and dry patches.
