Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia - Bec and Bridge x St. Tropez

Yesterday, I attended day two of the Mercedes Benz Fashion week where iconic Australian designers, Bec & Bridge, showcased their 120-piece collection inspired by 70’s glamour.

Backstage, I got to meet celebrity make-up artist and St. Tropez skin finishing expert, Michael brown. He demonstrated how he applies the St. Tropez Instant tan in medium/dark on the models and gave me a few quick tips and tricks on how to get the perfect tan.

“It’s such an iconic brand, we have always loved the products and feel as though the alignment is so organic! It works for every skin tone, and we knew it would be the perfect partner for the new swim pieces – really, the whole collection.” –Becky Cooper and Bridget Yorston

"Think shimmer, gloss and iridescence. We created gorgeous, warm and healthy skin that is perfect for the brand's first foray into swimwear." –Michael Brown

The St. Tropez instant tan is proven to be the longest lasting cosmetic tan on the market. It’s a quick drying, streak-free and water resistant formula is transfer resistant and lasts for up to 24 hours. This product is great for one-time events or nervous tanners who want a natural, golden glow without the commitment or for those who dread mixing foundations or buying new ones for a colour match.

St. Tropez tan is green-based which means that the skin will radiate a natural bronze tan - not orange.

GET THE LOOK:

1) Exfoliate the skin the day prior with St. Tropez Prep and Maintain tan Enhancing Body Polish and hydrate with St. Tropez Prep and Maintain Tan Enhancing Body Moisturiser.

2) Buff St. Tropez Instant Tan Lotion in Medium/Dark all over the body using the St. Tropez Tan applicator mitt for a smooth, warm-caramel skin.

3) Finish off the look with St. Tropez Gold Illuminator to highlight the collarbone and illuminate and extend the limbs. Doing this creates a glistening skin against jewel tones and metallic accents.
