Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator Review

Hi girls, I'm back after making a few quick changes to the layout of my blog. I'm still not completely satisfied with it, but we'll see how it goes for now.

I have notoriously dry skin and in the past few months I suffered a really bad break out and once it healed it began to peel and flake away. Please don't suggest exfoliating it's redundant…It just didn't work. But I'll tell you what did -

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator.

This is a gel-cream formula that feels so cool and gentle on the skin. A little goes a very long way and it instantly changes the look and feel of your skin dramatically. I don't know what else to say, it was like magic! This has ultimately become my holy grail skincare product for sure. I had fine lines, cracks, stubborn dry patches and skin that keeps peeling and coming back after exfoliating, but a layer of MS later, flakes and patches disappeared. My face looked healthy, brighter and dewy even around the crevices of my nose and lips. After the product is set into the skin it doesn't feel at all oily or sticky - unless you were quite generous with it, it can feel slightly greasy so use only as much as you need in areas where you need it the most if you have dry combination skin, for example, I only use this around my chin, between the brows, on and around my nose and a little on the sides of my cheeks sometimes a little bit under the eyes. If you find that this product provides more moisture than you require you can opt to use the Moisture surge extended thirst relief which is suitable for all skin types. This product does not irritate my skin or break me out and the lasting power is insane! My skin retained moisture for days even after washing my face and showering. I also noticed my skin feeling a lot more softer and fine lines around my under eye and around my lip reduced. This also works great as a primer both under or on top of your make up. You could also mix a little bit into your foundation or use it as a night mask as part of your skincare routine.

More information from the Clinique information sheet included with the product:

  1. Haha looks like you really like this! I remember trying this before but I think it didn't do much. Although you convinced me to give it another chance. I'm definitely suffering from dry flaky skin right now.
