I know I shared this to death over the weekend, but I just want to lay it out here for you girls to have another peek at the first beauty loop box of the year for level 1 members.
After I posted up these pictures on instagram, I got a handful of girls asking what beauty loop is so I'm going to try and explain it concisely. You can create a beauty loop account either online or in store at Mecca Maxima or Mecca Cosmetica. From there, you can earn rewards such as complimentary make up applications, exclusive invites to events, birthday gifts and sample boxes available quarterly depending on how much you spend within a 12 month period. There are 3 beauty loop levels:
L1 Beauty discoverer ($300-$599 per year)
4 Loop sample boxes
Complimentary make up application for your birthday
L2 Beauty devotee ($600-$1199 per year)
4 Loop sample boxes
Complimentary make up application for your birthday
Birthday gift
Complimentary make up application 2 per year
Complimentary beauty loop make up lesson
Priority invitations to in store events
L3 Beauty aficionado ($1200+ per year)
4 Loop sample boxes
Complimentary make up application for your birthday"
Birthday Gift
Complimentary make up application 3 per year
Complimentary beauty loop make up lesson 2 per year
Priority invitations to in store events
Complimentary international events
Exclusive access to purchase new products and limited edition collections prior to launch
Unfortunately, I found out about Mecca beauty loop long after I made a few hefty purchases, but since joining late last year, I landed myself in level 1, just shy of level 2. Here's what was included in my beauty loop box.
Ciate mini paint pot
I got this in the shade 'Member's only' This is a very sheer peachy nude with tiny rose gold shimmers. Very cute!
Kate Somerville Kateceuticals multi-active repair eye cream
Described as a powerful anti-ageing eye cream formulated to smooth and lift the eye area whilst refining texture and imparting a radiant glow.
Verso Super eye cream
Another eye serum for firming and smoothing the eye area.
NARS Light optimising primer
This is actually a great primer for dry to normal skin. It preps the skin leaving a visible luminous glow that is dewy but not shimmery and the consistency of it is thick but it blends smoothly and feels lightweight. Great under the NARS Sheer Glow foundation or the new NARS All day luminous weightless foundation. It feels soft and moisturising and definitely creates a smooth base for foundation and concealer.
What are your thoughts on this month's loop boxes? Hit or miss? What beauty loop level are you on and what did you get in your boxes? Let me know in the comments! x
