Roses and Gold: Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow palette review and swatches

I know, I'm a little late hopping on the Urban Decay Naked 3 bandwagon but I've had issues committing to it until a sudden surge of impulse made me do it. This is a little hard to get in Australia, you either had to get someone to import it from the states for you, use a mail forwarding service or get it off beautybay for an arm and a leg.

I'm going to be straight forward with you guys, this palette is a game changer! There are a lot of neutral palettes on the market and while a lot of them are great or maybe even better, there are none quite like the naked 3 which offers 12 shades of rose-hued neutrals. I am a person who can do without eyeshadow but this palette changes everything! It is incredibly pigmented and blendable - It blends effortlessly and doesn't turn muddy. You can create a neutral minimal look to a romantic/dramatic smokey eye and it's great on all skin tones! WIN

Strange: Described as a pale pink shade with a matte satin finish that is great for highlighting the brow bone or inner tear duct can also be used as a base colour.
Dust: This is a pale metallic pink with micro glitters and shimmer. I find that this has the worse fall out and you can definitely feel the grittiness of the glitters. It can be used wet or better with a primer but it's still a little disappointing.
Burnout: Peach coloured pink with a satin finish.
Limit: Dusty rose colour with a matte finish. A beautiful transition or base colour
Buzz: Buzz is one of my favourite shades! It's a gorgeous shimmery-metallic rose pink with microglitters.
Trick: A light shimmery copper shade with pink undertones.

Nooner: Deep pinky/mauve matte shade. This is a beautiful crease and base colour. This would be the first shade to hit pan I can guarantee it.
Liar: Metallic mauve. This is a stunning metallic finish much like the new NARS dual intensity shadows.
Factory: Satin brown with subtle pink tones.
Mugshot: Shimmery metallic taupe shade.
Darkside: Deep taupe/mauve colour with a satin finish. This one is a beautiful shade to use for dramatic smokey looks I normally use this in my outter-v or to smoke out my liner.
Blackheart: The most pigmented black with red micro sparkles. This one is gorgeous, girls. My heart literally stopped when I dipped my finger in the pan for a swatch.

What are your favourite shades? Leave a comment or share the looks you created with this palette on instagram using the hashtag #hauteflashes I would love to see them!
