The Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation features a curated selection of 8 flexible shades that claim to have the ability to warm the skin's natural tone.
The Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation has a ultra-light and buildable coverage that evens and perfects the complexion. Every weightless drop of fluid claims to impart subtle luminosity that has the ability to blur imperfections and leave a soft-focused glow.
This product is formulated with 32% water for weightless hydration, hyaluronic acid to provide the skin with anti-ageing benefits and a luminous glow, vitamin A and E antioxidants to brighten the skin and green algae extracts to provide an extra boost of hydration and skin-conditioning benefits. This foundation does not contain parabens, sulfates and phthalates.
The Becca aqua luminous perfecting foundation is aqueous and fairly runny. To re-invigorate the formula it is imperative that this product is shaken well before each use. Blending requires minimal effort since the fluid has a considerable amount of slip and movement. This provides a very natural light to medium, fairly buildable coverage that's neither greasy or tacky on the skin. This did not cover all my imperfections but it did visibly blur them and helped reduce the appearance of redness and even out the skin tone. It has a gorgeous dewy finish, that's smooth and lightweight on the skin, giving you that soft, ethereal glow. I absolutely love how incredibly moisturising the formula is and it's ability to smooth out the skin's texture, particularly if you have flakey skin, this will definitely improve the look of it!
This product is luminous and looks glorious on the skin. The foundation wore beautifully without separating or settling into fine lines and wrinkles for up to 6-8 hours of wear. I did notice a bit of transfer, smudging and fading so you'll definitely need to set this product with a setting powder or spray. Ultimately I would only recommend this to ladies with more dry/dehydated, normal or combination skin types, however if you're a little on the oily side I strongly recommend a mattifying primer or relying on blotting sheets/powders to control oils.
As always, feel free to discuss or leave any questions in the comments section. Swatches will be available soon!
This foundation looks amazing I'm dying to try it. Great review!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I've been using it on days where my skin is looking dry and dull. It's a very natural finish that's dewy but not greasy looking!
