Laura Mercier Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalm

Laura Mercier has just announced that they're launching a new line of Colour balm lipsticks next month! What can only be described as "Decadent. Delicious. Dreamy," the Laura Mercier Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalms claims to provide the comfort of a lip balm, the coverage of a lipstick and the shine of a gloss. These provide medium colour coverage and smooth, creamy application. It has a ultra-thin lightweight texture that's creamy and cushiony with a luminous, shiny finish. They have a non-sticky, non-tacky formula that's comfortable on the lips and proved to be a long-lasting formula. They're also insanely conditioning and moisturising, leaving the lips softer, fuller and smoother.

These Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalms comes in a range of 12 permanent shades. They glide on the lips with ease and delivers one-stroke coverage that looks and feels creamy, smooth and nourishing. These lip parfaits are the most comfortable and lightweight on the lips and they wear for up to 8 hours (no lie!) with light eating and drinking.

Laura Mercier Lip Parfaits deliver the most beautiful creamy colour that's ultra-thin and smooth in consistency without streaking, bleeding or sitting in fine lip lines. The finish of these creamy colour balms are lustrous with a medium shine. I received my Lip Parfait in the shade 'Raspberry Ripple' which is a shimmer-free, semi-opaque, pink-mauve shade great for those who want a creamy saturated colour that's still soft and fairly nude/natural. These do have a very pleasant and sweet raspberry scent, nothing overpowering though so it won't be much of a bother if you are sensitive to scents.

My only concern with these is that they do transfer, which is expected, but if you blot them or set them lightly with a setting powder, you should be safe and good to go. The packaging of this product is quite petite (3.5g worth of product) making them perfect pocket pals and travel buddies.

These will be available at David Jones on Laura Mercier counters from the 5th of July and will retail for $35 AUD. Alternatively, you could order these online at Adorebeauty.com

  1. Hello! Im interested to know how they compare against a Revlon Colour burst balm, I always found them to feel kinda heavy on the lips, even though they were a nice product. This colour look's gorgeous BTW! Xo
