IT Cosmetics "Your Skin But Better" CC+ With SPF 50+

I'm all for the dewy look these days since my dry skin cannot tolerate the matte look, especially now that we've headed into the Winter season here in Australia. With battering dry winds and moderate to high UV weather, we cannot pass on these essentials.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+ is marketed as a "full coverage, colour correcting cream with anti-aging serum and physical-only sunscreen all in one". This product also claims to be a "highly-pigmented, multi-tasking beauty miracle with full coverage that will not crease or crack in fine lines and will give you a healthy, "your skin but better" glow". It is Paraben-free and contains SPF 50+ UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum (physical only, non-chemical sunscreen). This CC cream features a "cutting edge, anti-aging technology clinically proven to improve skin texture, brightness and increases skin hydration by 79%".

The IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream comes packaged in a plastic tube with a pump dispenser. This product comes in a range of 5 different shades with 32ml worth of product and will last you quite a while considering how it only requires one standard pump to achieve a fully even coverage. The consistency of this product is fairly thick but very, very emollient and the texture is smooth and blends seamlessly. I find this formula to be exceptionally hydrating but because this formula does not completely set, I normally use a light powder over the top to set it and prevent inevitable creasing.

I love the quality of this CC cream - It's highly pigmented and yields a medium, fairly buildable coverage. This immediately reduced the look of pores, redness and blurs imperfections such as light freckles, fine lines and minor scarring. I love that this evens out the skin tone without making it look flat and this product gives a very natural, healthy glow that feels breathable, extremely moisturising and lightweight on the skin. The finish of this CC cream is dewy which is great for thirsty, dehydrated skin - this did not cling to unsightly dry patches or flakes! This cream is scented with a blend of citrus oils/ingredients which may or may not be a miss for some people as it can potentially irritate sensitive skin. I personally don't mind it as I did not experience any irritations or breakouts and as far as the scent goes…It smells quite invigorating to me so I definitely don't mind it.

Because the It Cosmetics CC cream does contain a physical SPF of 50+ this provides an insane amount of sun protection (for a CC cream) and anti-aging benefits making this product perfect for everyday wear plus it's lightweight and nourishing, however for special occasions, events and for flash photography, this product is definitely a no-go as it does have a considerable amount of flashback.

As you can see from these images, this product definitely revives the skin - it rids dullness and gives the skin a healthier looking glow. I found this wore beautifully on my skin for 8 hours. Unless you set this product with a setting powder, you will experience a bit of transfer onto clothing however for the skin care benefits, the excellent coverage and lasting power, I definitely give this high ratings and definitely recommend people with dry skin types to put this product to the test.

For my Sydney babes, this product is available at Sephora, directly from the IT Cosmetics website (U.S) or at PM Studio (ships anywhere in Australia, shipping is free if you purchase 6 or more product)

  1. I've not been able to achieve full coverage with 2 pumps! I don't have major skin discoloration, but do have broken capillaries on my cheeks. They're visable, but not super red, but with 2 to 21/2 pumps, I still see them! It also settles in my lines. I swapped it out for the luminos one, it just looks shiny and oily! Ugh! I hate to take it back!
