Sephora Collection / Sephora.com.au *

Sephora has fulfilled another promise to provide bigger, better and more exciting beauty solutions by transitioning from luxola.com/au to Sephora.com.au! Sephora is rapidly expanding to offer the ultimate beauty experience…Australia-wide!

Australians now have access to brands and products that are only exclusive to Sephora with offers as sweet as free standard shipping (2-10 days) a loyalty program and 10 dollars off your first purchase, why wouldn't you be pinching yourself? One of the brands that are now accessible for the first time ever online in Australia is the Sephora Collection.

The Sephora Brightening and Hydrating foundation is an oil-free nourishing formula that provides all-day hydration and visibly brighten and smooth the skin's texture. It's enriched with moisturising hyaluronic acid and it contains light-reflecting pigments.

The Brightening and Hydrating foundation comes in a range of 9 different shades, packaged in a standard hard-plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. This is a water-based foundation with a creamy, silky texture that blends smoothly over the skin. This product yields a very natural, dewy and moist finish with a light to medium coverage that's suitable for those with very dry skin types.

The brightening and hydrating foundation blurs the appearance of fine lines and imperfections, retexture the skin, even outs uneven skin tone and provides one of the most luminous, glowing finishes. Application is silky smooth and blends effortlessly with either a beauty blender or a traditional foundation brush, however it does take a considerable amount of time before it sets and may require a light setting powder. It's non-fragranced, oil-free and non-comodegenic - great for sensitive skin and did not cause any skin irritations or break outs for me. It claims to be a long-lasting formula, though it lasted just a little over 6 hours without a primer or setting powder.

This foundation retails at Sephora for $26 aud, a great value considering drugstore prices for foundations are ridiculously priced here down under - You know what I mean?

The Sephora Collection Teint Infusion Ethereal Natural Finish foundation is a water-based foundation with a ultra-fluid texture. It claims to have a moisturising formula with a buildable, light to medium coverage that's both flawless and undetectable on the skin.

This is a serum foundation packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper dispenser and comes in 12 different shades. It's aqueous, but not as runny as other serum foundations and it's has a very lightweight formula. Providing satin smoothness and a natural, soft luminous finish, this foundation yields a light coverage that can be built up to a medium coverage. The formula feels hydrating and soft on the skin without being heavy, greasy or irritating and it even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of minor imperfections, including blemishes and pigmentation and it helps improve dull dehydrated skin. This product is non-scented, non-comodogenic and a little goes a long way - one drop will cover your entire face. Application is fool-proof and there is ample time to blend since it does take a while to fully set. The Teint Ethereal Natural Finish foundation is suitable for with those with dry-combination skin, if you have oily skin, you may need to set this with a powder to mattify and control shine.

The Sephora Collection Teint Infusion foundation retails for $32 aud at Sephora, something I consider to be reasonably priced for an everyday, serum foundation.

The Sephora Collection Colorful 5 eyeshadow palette in Pale to Rich Taupe contains a selection of 5 cool-tone neutral shades, each of which are richly pigmented, smooth and blendable colours which can be used both wet and/or dry. This is a lovely convenient compact that includes all the essentials - a gradient of pale to deep neutral shadows from matte to shimmer finishes, a small mirror and a dual ended applicator in a travel-friendly compact.

The shade in this palette includes glittery beige, pink beige, taupe, deep taupe and dark brown - all neutral tones to create neutral looks or dramatic, smokey eye looks.
